After spending four seasons with the Prince George Cougars, forward Jared Bethune has committed to play U-Sports Men’s Hockey at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Bethune was the Cougars MVP in the 2017-18 season with 69 points (21G, 48A) in 71 games.
Over 276 WHL regular season games, he notched 175 points (65G, 110A).
The 21-year-old completed an amateur try-out this spring with the Allen Americans of the ECHL.
In 16 regular season and playoff games with the Americans, he tallied one goal and five assists.
