A busy weekend is on tap for thrill seekers in Prince George.
If Northern Fan Con wasn’t enough, the BCNE’s Spring Fair kicks off on Thursday.
With it starting earlier than normal, President Sylvia Layzell says they have something in store for the kids.
“We do have a special because we normally aren’t open on Thursdays, so this year we are offering a special of six rides for $16.99 and with no coupon needed.”

She adds the fair provides a nice escape for people as the northern capital finally gets to celebrate the spring season.
“The spring fair is a lot lower key than the fall fair since it is just the midway but it’s a break after winter so it’s nice to be able to get out and do something.”
Wristbands are $40 and the fair runs until Sunday.
