A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle along Highway 97 between 18th and 22nd Avenues near the College of New Caledonia (CNC).
Prince George RCMP confirm the victim was a student; 47-year-old Michelle Dac has been charged with impaired driving causing death
“We’re offering extensive counselling support for students and staff and the college community has set up a memorial for the student. Right now, it’s been a very traumatic event for not only the students who witnessed it and the classmates, but also our staff as well.”

PG and North District RCMP Traffic Services are continuing to investigate, with help from the BC Coroners Office.
