US OPEN GOLF:
Brooks Koepka is the first player to win the U.S. Open in consecutive years in 29 years (Curtis Strange, 1989).
Koepka fired a final round two-under-68 (-2) to finish at 1-over-281 (+1), a shot better than Tommy Fleetwood and two ahead of world number-one Dustin Johnson.
The victory moves Koepka from ninth to a career-best number-four in the world golf ranking.
