Judokas seeking international appearances with PG’s help

Two local athletes are asking the public for help in getting them get a pair of international tournaments.

The Prince George Judo Club (PGJC) have started a Ramen-inspired fundraiser to help send Sydney Edgson to the Canada Cup in Montreal, taking place from June 29th to July 1st.

Tami Goto also hopes to participate in the same competition as well as the Pan-Am Championships in Argentina starting July 7th.

Edgson and Goto each took home a bronze medal in their respective categories at the National Judo Championships in Calgary last month.

The fundraiser is taking place at Ramen Ya SENDO from now until June 30th.
