Local residents who commute by bus in and around Prince George can expect to see a schedule change for the season.
Starting July 2nd, BC Transit is enacting its yearly summer hours for drivers due to lower ridership, which means some routes will be cancelled.
In a statement, the provider says adjusting schedules during this season allows them to provide higher service levels during busier months of the year.
Cancelled routes include:
- #12 Parkridge
- #96 Kelly Road via North Nechako
- #97 Kelly Road
The changes also take effect because school is not in session over the summer months.
