Jordan Spieth, Kevin Kisner and Xander Schauffele are the co-leaders entering the 4th round of the 147th Open Championship at Carnoustie (Scotland).

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are in a group four strokes off the pace at 5-under.

Canadian Adam Hadwin is 10 back at 1-over 214.

 

PRINCE GEORGE SENIOR LACROSSE:

Game three in the PG Senior Lacrosse final for the Dale Rolufs Memorial Trophy will be played Monday night at 8 at Kin 1.

The Westwood Pub Devils and RPR Mechanical/J.R. Construction Bandits are tied 1-1 after the Devils convincing 13-4 triumph in game two.

The Bandits, who took the opener 9-6, had their 13-game win streak come to an end.

Cole Paciejewski of Prince George has finished play with Scotland at the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship in Israel.

Scotland ended up 1-7 with the lone victory 14-10 over Ireland (Friday) in its final game.

Paciejewski, a first-team all-star in PG Senior Lacrosse, notched seven points (4G, 3A) in eight tournament games after picking up an assist against Ireland.

In earlier action, Scotland lost 12-6 to the Philippines (Thursday), 11-7 to Japan (Wednesday), 14-7 to the Iroquois Nationals (Tuesday), 18-2 to the USA (Monday), 11-8 to England (Sunday), 22-3 to Canada (Saturday), and 18-6 to Australia (Friday, July 13th).

The tournament concluded (Saturday) with the USA knocking off-Canada 9-8 in the final.

 

MLB:

Toronto Blue Jays  4  Baltimore Orioles  1

The (45-52) Jays go for a three-game sweep of the Orioles today (10:07 AM).

Toronto will also continue its six-game homestand Monday night against Minnesota.

 

BC SUMMER GAMES:

Cariboo-North-East athletes have earned 14 medals (six gold, five silver and three bronze) and counting at the BC Summer Games in Cowichan Valley.

Swimmer Jordan Vertue of Prince George has four medals, including two gold to go along with a silver and a bronze.
