With the wildfires still raging in the Cariboo and the Bulkley-Nechako Regions, the City of Prince George is welcoming evacuees with open arms.
Over 150 people who have been forced out of their homes are now in the northern capital.
The city is reminding those folks to sign-up at the Emergency Reception Centre at CN Centre.
From there, evacuees will receive assistance with accommodation, emergency food, and medical services.
Prince George took in over 10-thousand evacuees during last year’s BC Wildfire Crisis.
Anyone needing a place to stay is now in hotels and motels.
Evacuees are requested to register at the reception centre in order to receive assistance with accommodation, emergency food, and medical services. #BCWildfires
