Prince George RCMP is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision on North Kelly Road near Hobby Drive from Wednesday night.
Police received the report at 5:40pm and, upon arrival, found a grey four-door Chevrolet Malibu sedan in a wooded area down an embankment. A decease adult woman was found inside. The BC Coroners Service was contacted and attended the scene, along with an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist to assist with the investigation.
The woman was last seen at about 11pm on Tuesday, August 28, approximately 18 hours before she was found.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have heard anything unusual in the area or seen the vehicle between the time the driver was last seen and when she was located. Anyone with information is asked to contact the PG RCMP.
The investigation is ongoing.
