Cougars add to their depth by signing an American

Forward Mitch Kohner is part of the Prince George Cougars after signing a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

The 16-year-old Kohner, who is from Rosemount, Minnesota was selected by the Cougars in the 10th round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

“Mitch plays a WHL style of game which is impressive for his age,” said Cougars General Manager Mark Lamb in a team news release.

“He skates well, he’s physical and has the potential to be a very good player at this level.”
