Prince George is one of 23 British Columbia communities sharing a total of $175,650 from Housing BC grants. In total, 39 events will receive funding.
In PG, $4,000 will help fund the 2019 Ringette Provincials. Other nearby communities receiving funding is Quesnel ($6,000) to host the 2019 BC Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships, and Fort St. John for two events, the Canada Cup #1/BC Long Track Team Selection 2019 CWG ($3,5000) and the BC Long Track (Speedskating) Provincial Championships ($2,150).
