The Electoral Area Director for Area C within Chilako River-Nechako in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George.
Lara Beckett has served the area for the past 10 years and believes the role of regional government has a direct impact on people and their daily lives.
She says tax dollars are supporting services like 911 Emergency Response, rural fire halls, rescue services, transfer stations, recycling, and regional parks.
Beckett grew up just north of Quesnel and holds a Biology and Environmental Studies degree from the University of Victoria.
