Prince George has signed Maglio to a two-year contract extension through the 2020-21 BCHL season. “I look forward to working and pushing the growth and development of our team on a daily basis,” said Maglio in a team news release. He guided the Spruce Kings to the Mainland Division and Coastal Conference Championship in his first year as Head Coach and third year with the team. Maglio has a regular season record of 38-18-4-4, including a league-best 5-1 start in 2018-19. “Adam has shown that he is an elite coach. His commitment to our team, his work ethic and ability to teach and relate to the players is tremendous,” said General Manager Mike Hawes. The Spruce Kings resume action Friday in Surrey to begin a three-game road trip that also takes them to Langley Saturday and Coquitlam Sunday.
