UNBC Timberwolves goalkeeper Brooke Molby is the Canada West women’s second star of the week.
Molby helped the Timberwolves qualify for the conference play-in game after posting back-to-back shutouts.
The second-year keeper from Squamish had nine saves in a 2-0 home victory over Thompson Rivers and followed that up with a seven-save shutout in a 1-0 triumph over visiting UBC Okanagan.
Molby finished the regular season with an .836 save-percentage, good for second among all keepers in the conference.
UNBC faces the Manitoba Bisons Friday at UBC with the winner to play UBC Sunday in the quarter-finals.
