UPDATE – 4:25PM:
Power has been restored to the UNBC campus in Prince George.
According to the school, electricity was back up and running at around 4:15PM today after weather conditions shut down power as early as 8:30AM.
Evening classes will take place for students.

UPDATE – 11:50AM:
The power remains out at UNBC’s Prince George campus.
BC Hydro crews are still working to fix the problem but no estimated time of restoration has been given.
All day classes are cancelled until 5PM, while the Library remains closed.
Employees and supervisors are expected to remain at work.
Emergency generator power is providing emergency lighting to ensure a safe environment.

A power outage at UNBC has forced a brief delay of classes this morning.
BC Hydro crews are working on determining the cause but don’t have an estimated time frame on when the power will be restored.
Classes have been cancelled until 10AM but employees are still expected to report to work.
