CN Centre chooses a name for their mascot

The CN Centre’s air dancer officially has a name.

Last month the centre put a call out to the community to help them name their newest addition, an 18 feet tall “inflatable arm flailing tube man,” and after intense deliberation, the name has been decided.

Harold, submitted by Mrs. Fran Daniels, originates from Mr. PG and Harold Moffat from the 1950’s, who believed that Prince George needed a mascot to promote the forest industry and represent the city.

The centre said that “Harold both represents the legacy of our community, plus it also represents our Air Dancer who heralds events.”

Mrs. Fran Daniels won the usage of the CN Centre Luxury Suite, which includes 11 tickets, to the Prince George Cougars vs. Regina Pats game on Friday, November 23rd.
