City reopens two downtown intersections

Traffic near Prince George City Hall is returning to smooth sailing this afternoon.

The intersections of 7th Avenue and Dominion Street, and 6th Avenue and George Street are officially reopened for local residents after crews finished connecting several pipes.

This included water, storm, and sanitary pipes along with other infrastructure.

Both intersections have now been paved and resurfaced for pedestrian access as well.

However, 7th Avenue will remain closed just past the City hall entrance due to on-going condo developments and other installations.
