About 120 Prince George residents gathered at the Northern Sport Centre to run for a good cause.
They all rallied behind the local Hospice Society who hosted the Ugly Sweater Run today.
The event saw families, dogs, and runners of all ages and experience levels take part.

One of the more experienced runners in the pack was Judy Thompson who believes an event of this kind is a win-win for everybody.
“It’s a great way to get a lot of people involved especially people who aren’t runners, I mean I run all of the time but I think it’s really good to get new runners or people who are interested in running out to a fun event and to take part in a community activity.”
“I’m a runner and I love running whether it’s icy, warm or cold I run all year round but participating in this is for a good cause in the Hospice Society but I love just getting out and running and it’s a fun event.”
Jayna Mason was one of the youngest people to participate, who stated the run helps her train for another sport.
“I’m a figure skater so I train a lot and one of the things we do is a lot of running.”
The five-kilometre run helps support the Boogie with the Stars Fundraiser.
