North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said the incident happened at 3:12 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. “Valemount RCMP received a notification from a support beacon an emergency had occurred,” said Saunderson. The incident happened 70 km south of Valemount on Bone Creek Forest Service Road. Saunderson’s said the man who died was part of a group of people snowmobiling. No more information is available at this time and the case with the BC Coroners now.
