The Kelowna Rockets built up period leads of 2-1 and 3-1 and then held on for a 4-3 victory over the Prince George Cougars. Brad Morrison notched three assists for the Cougars, who went 2-3 on a five game road trip. Prince George is 19-21 at the 40-game mark. The Cougars host Tri-City Tuesday and Wednesday. Both the Cats and Americans have 38 points.

–The Nanaimo Clippers scored four times on the power play and added a shorthanded goal in a 6-3 triumph over the Prince George Spruce Kings. It was the Spruce Kings first game in 2015 and was played before 1,082 fans at the Coliseum. The 18-15-0-4 Spruce Kings, who have lost their last three, visit Vernon, Salmon Arm & Penticton on the
9th, 10th and 11th before hosting Salmon Arm on January 15th.
