The 16-33-4-2 Cougars are last in the Western Conference, nine points behind the (21-28-4-1) Kamloops Blazers and 12 back of the (22-27-5-1) Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Thunderbirds hold down the final wild-card playoff spot.
Prince George has 13 games left, eight of them on home ice.
The Cougars play Victoria, Everett and Kamloops three times each and Spokane and Portland twice each.
The Western Conference leading (39-13-1-2) Everett Silvertips visit Prince George Monday and Tuesday.

The Prince George Spruce Kings visit the first place Chilliwack Chiefs Sunday and the last place Surrey Eagles Monday.
Both the Spruce Kings and Chiefs have won nine in a row.
The 36-12-1-5 Spruce Kings are second in the Mainland Division, five points behind the (41-12-1) Chiefs.
Both Prince George and Chilliwack have four regular season games left, including three against each other.
The Chiefs host Nanaimo tonight.

Competition starts today (10:00 a.m) at the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club on Otway Road.
118 men and women athletes from 19 countries compete in four cross-country skiing and four biathlon events.
Canada is represented by 11 athletes and three guides, including three athletes from B.C.
The participants are grouped into three classes: sitting, standing, and visually impaired.

The National Scotties Tournament of Hearts will begin today in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
The B.C. rink will play its first game against Nova Scotia.
B.C. is represented by skip Sarah Wark of Abbotsford and her team that has two players (third Kristen Pilote and lead Jen Rusnell) and a coach (Rick Fewster) from Prince George.
