Prince George Spruce Kings 3 Victoria Grizzlies 2 (OT)
The Spruce Kings swept the BCHL Coastal Conference final 4-0 (allowing two goals in each game)
Captain Ben Poisson scored his 10th goal of the playoffs, unassisted at 18:09 of overtime.
Layton Ahac tied the game at 2 for P.G. with a power play goal midway thru the 3rd period.
Liam Watson-Brawn also tallied for the visitors while Alex Newhook notched a pair of second period power play goals for the Grizzlies before 1,051 fans in Victoria.
Prince George outshot Victoria 44-36, including 13-8 in overtime.
The Vernon Vipers have a breakout offensive performance in game three, and the Prince George Spruce Kings are on their way to the Fred Page Cup final once again.

The Spruce Kings have won nine straight and are 12-1 in the playoffs, outscoring the opposition 51-21.
They have not allowed more than two goals (except for an empty netter in their lone loss) in those games.
The Spruce Kings have won 24 of their last 26 overall games.
They will host Vernon or Wenatchee in the first two games of the Fred Page Cup final starting Friday, April 12th.
The Spruce Kings are riding a 15-game home winning streak and have not lost at the RMCA in 2019.

MAJOR MIDGET HOCKEY:
The BCMML-champion Cariboo Cougars visit the Alberta-champion Calgary Buffaloes in the Major Midget best-of-3 Pacific Region championship series.
Games will be played at the Cardel Rec South Arena in Calgary Friday and Saturday night at 6:00 (PT) and if needed Sunday 1:00pm (PT).
The winner advances to Telus Cup midget national championship in Thunder Bay, Ontario April 22-28.

Canada beat Germany 7-4 Tuesday at the world men’s curling championship in Lethbridge.

Third straight loss for the (2-4) Jays, who conclude a 7-game homestand today (1:07 PT) against the (4-1) Orioles, as Baltimore goes for a 3-game sweep.

The Blue Jays dealt outfielder Kevin Pillar to the San Francisco Giants in return for three players (infielder Alen Hanson and right-handed pitchers Juan De Paula and Derek Law).
The 30-year-old Pillar batted .252 with 15 homers and a career-high 59 RBI’s in 142 games last season.
NBA:
The Toronto Raptors have four regular season games left, three of them on the road.
The (55-23) Raptors visit the (39-39) Brooklyn Nets tonight.
Toronto is second in the NBA Eastern Conference, 3 games behind the (58-20) Milwaukee Bucks.
Raptors also play at Charlotte Friday before they host Miami Sunday and close at Minnesota on Tuesday.
