Gauthier to dawn the Maple Leaf for Canada

Team Canada Men’s Under-18 program will feature a Prince George Cougar.

Taylor Gauthier is one of three goaltenders named to the Canadian roster, which begins play tomorrow in Sweden.

The Calgary product played 55 games for the Cougars this past season where he amassed 15 wins to go along with a 3.25 goals-against-average as well as a .899 save percentage.

Gauthier won gold with Canada at the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup last August and also captured a gold with Team Canada White at the 2017 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in Dawson Creek and Fort Saint John BC.

Canada opens the tournament against Finland.
