Hurt’n Bear Trail Race

May 6 @ 8:00 am - May 25 @ 1:00 pm

as listed

Come Run With Us! The Prince George Road Runners’ newest race goes this Saturday, May 25th and will highlight the amazing trails at the Pidherny Recreation Site.

The Hurt’n Bear Trail Race will make the most of the ridgelines and stunning views and will feature 5km, 10km, and 21.1km distances. The 21.1 has been named the Hagen Half, in small part, to say thank you to Dr. Barry and Thelma Hagen – the literal ‘trailblazers’ behind many of the city’s most beloved single-track trails. There will also be a free 1km Kids Race.

The event will be staged from the Pidherny Rec Site’s upper parking lot, off Foothills Boulevard.

PGRR members are free! Non-members: $20 for 5km, $25 for 10km, and $30 for Hagen Half Marathon.

To register, go to: www.strideandglide.ca

Start Times:
8am – Hagen Half Marathon
8:40am – 1km free Kids Race
9am – 10km
9:15am – 5km

Members of the PG Mountain Bike Association will be hosting a cash donation BBQ from 10am until 1pm to raise funds for a winter trail grooming machine. PGRR would like to thank the PG Cycling Club and PGMBA for permission to use the trails!
