The title says it all! Richard Strauss’ Serenade for Winds, Anatol Liadov’s Eight Russian Folk Songs, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet and Launy Grondahl’s Trombone Concerto featuring Brian Wendel, Principal Trombonist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Brian Wendel joined the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra as Principal Trombone in 2017, at age twenty-one. Winner of two International Trombone Association competitions (2014 and 2016), Brian has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic Brass Ensemble.
