Global economy to see worst year since the 30’s

The International Monetary Funds’ latest forecast shows the global economy will suffer its worst year since the Great Depression.

The IMF data shows Canada’s economy will shrink by 6.2-percent before bouncing back with 4.2-percent growth in 2021.

Canada will be hit harder than the United States but not as bad as Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
