The search for a boy who went missing while swimming in the Fraser River has been suspended.
15 year old William Quail went under the water while swimming with a friend near Hudson’s Bay Wetland Park on Friday just before 4pm. Extensive searches by police and Search and Rescue crews have come up empty.
William is described as:
· Caucasian male
· 156 cm (5’5″)
· 54 kg (120 lbs)
· Short blonde hair
· Blue eyes
· Last seen wearing blue jeans, gold and black DC running shoes and a black t-shirt
Police are asking anyone with information on the incident, or anyone who may have witnessed the swimming youth on Friday to contact the RCMP.
