Harrison joins the Cougars

The Prince George Cougars have filled their final overage spot.

The Cougars have acquired 20-year-old forward Luke Harrison from the Brandon Wheat Kings in return for a 9th round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

This is Harrison’s 5th WHL team and 4th this season.

In 17 games (with Kamloops, Spokane and Brandon) he has four goals, no assists and 17 penalty minutes.

The 6’1”, 204 pound Harrison has played 94 of his 196 career regular season WHL games with the Victoria
Royals.

He has notched 21 goals and 13 assists to go along with 125 career penalty minutes.

The addition of Harrison increases the Cougars roster to 25 players: 14 forwards, nine defencemen and two goaltenders.

The Cougars host Kamloops Friday and Saturday.
