Residents in Prince George’s Heritage area have power once again.
Bob Gammer with BC Hydro says a member of the city’s bird community turned the lights out. “1400 customers are back on now after being out for an hour and 20 minutes. Crews arrived on scene and scouted the area and discovered it was a bird that caused the outage.”
Gammer believes the bird likely caused a fault with two pieces of equipment.
The outage was first reported just after 7 am.
School District 57 did not report any outages at their schools.
