Enjoying parks and museums in and around Prince George have never been easier.
With the Region District of Fraser-Fort George, the city’s libraries have created the “Golden Raven Discovery Pass.” It’ll give your free admission to ten local spots like the Exploration Place and Barkerville Historic Town.
Spokesperson Amy Dhanjal says this will help you learn all over the Northern Interior.
“Libraries are all about proving access to information and ideas and I think the discovery pass really speaks to that,” she says.
The pass also works on the Fort St. James National Historic Site, Valemount Museum, Valley Museum & Archives (McBride), Whistle Stop Gallery (McBride), Central B.C. Railway & Forestry Museum, Two Rivers Gallery, Huble Homestead Historic Site, and Mackenzie & District Museum.
Dhanjal says they’ll be going quickly and recommends putting a hold on one ahead of time.
