Winners announced for 3rd annual Curb Appeal Contest

Drum roll, please.

Chris and Tania Milum have been announced the winners of the 3rd annual Curb Appeal Contest.

Chris’ mother, Paula, entered the couple into the contest on MyPGNow, without their knowledge, to have their front yard made over. The couple bought their home with intentions to make renovations inside and out, however, in January they found out they were going to have twins.

The twins were born micro premies which required Tania to spend eight months in Vancouver at the Children’s Hospital with Chris traveling back and forth to PG.

Although the twins are home now they still require oxygen and 24-hour monitoring. The renovation of their home was put on hold until today.

“Thank you so much for considering what my mother-in-law sent in, it will go a long way, thank you,” Tania told MyPGNow.

Vista Radio Revenue Manager, Kyle Wightman, was joined by Councilor Terry McConnachie and sponsors to surprise the winners.

Contest sponsors and contributors of the Curb Appeal contest are Island Cash, Core Landscaping and Design, Uncle Johns Green House, Northern Earthworks Solutions, Decked Out, TM & Sons Land Care, The City of Prince George and Wood Wheaton Honda.

With the winners announced, renovations will get underway within the next week.
