Give a Gift Annual Hospice Campaign

Each year the Prince George Hospice Society holds its annual Give a Gift campaign to raise $25,000 to cover the cost of groceries for one year to feed our guests and their families. The kitchen is the heart of Hospice where family members gather to enjoy a wonderful home-cooked meal by our staff and volunteers. Alban Classical presents About Town at the Two Rivers Gallery a free concert on Thursday December 12 at 12 noon p.m. Erica Skowron - Oboe, Simon Cole - Clarinet and Jose Delgado-Guevara - Viola will perform a selection of Christmas music and some classical music. Admission is free. The concert is supported by the city of Prince George, the Musician's Performance Trust fund and The Two Rivers Gallery. We acknowledge the finance support of the province of British Columbia.

he Junior Component of Tapestry Singers is welcoming new members for January 2020. Junior Singers include non-auditioned singers in Grade 4-7. As a community choir, Tapestry Singers invite all children to join; private,  public, online and home school students. Caledonia Ramblers snowshoe

The Caledonia Ramblers are hosting an easy full-moon snowshoe in Wilkins Park on Thursday, December 12. A headlamp will be a must and ice cleats may also be handy, depending on conditions. Caledonia Ramblers snowshoe

The Caledonia Ramblers are hosting a snowshoe around Huble Homestead on Sunday, December 15. It's rated easy-to-moderate with a distance of 5-7 kilometres and should take 3-4 hours. Nevertheless, participants are asked to be equipped with the proper attire for a winter's day, including a daypack carrying lunch, snacks and something hot to drink and extra clothing.
