Hop on the bus for a buck, eh

The Prince George Transit System will be offering bus rides on Canada Day for just a dollar.

The pricing will be in place for all routes on July 1, making it easier for everyone to skip the hassle of parking and avoid the busy holiday traffic.

Customers are encouraged to use route 46 Queensway as they travel to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park to celebrate.

Residents are advised that bus routes for the day will be operating on a Sunday schedule for the holiday.

To go along with the Canada Day festivities put on throughout the Northern Capital, the City of Prince George would like to notify residents that Connaught Hill Park will be closed on July 1 in order to prepare for the CANFOR Canada Day Fireworks.
