Forward Brett Connolly of Prince George has landed his biggest contract since joining the NHL in the 2011-12 season.
The former Prince George and Cariboo Cougar signed a four-year, $14 million deal with the Florida Panthers.

Connolly spent the last three seasons with Washington, helping the Capitals capture the 2017-18
Stanley Cup.
The 27-year-old Connolly notched six goals and three assists in 24 playoff games last year.
He had a career-best 22 goals and 46 points in 81 regular-season games in the 2018-19 season.
Overall, Connolly has 79 goals and 76 assists for 155 points in 427 career games with Washington, Boston and Tampa Bay.

The Panthers also signed 2-time Vezina Trophy winner Sergei Bobrovsky to a 7-Year Contract
worth a reported $70 million.
