Weekend weather a “one day wonder,” according to Environment Canada

Sunday is the day to get outside, according to our weekend weather forecast.

“For Prince George, we have a bit of an unstable airmass, so that’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the next couple days,” said Meteorologist with Environment Canada Doug Lundquist.

“Sunday is the really nice day this weekend with highs in the mid-twenties and lots of sunshine.”

Highs should be around about 20 degrees for today (Friday) and Saturday with a 30-40% chance of showers.

Going into the week Lundquist said we may be seeing more rain and thunderstorms starting Monday and running through to Thursday.
