NBA:

The Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes are over and the winner is the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 28-year-old Leonard is getting a max four-year deal with the Clippers worth $142 million.

In a stunning development, the Clippers have also acquired Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for four unprotected first-round picks, one protected first-round pick, two pick swaps and two players (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander & Danilo Gallinari).

The Toronto Raptors are not just losing Leonard but Danny Green as well as Green announced he is joining the LA Lakers on a two-year deal worth a reported $30 million.

CFL: (Week 4)

Winnipeg  29  Ottawa  14

The Blue Bombers are 3-0 and the only unbeaten team in the CFL.

The RedBlacks are 2-1.

The 0-3 B.C. Lions play tonight in Toronto (4:00 PT).

The 0-2 Argos have been outscored 96-21 in their first two games.

Also tonight,  1-1 Calgary is at 1-2 Saskatchewan (7:00 PT).

The Stampeders will be without their injured starting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell.

PG SOCCER:

Prince George Youth Soccer is hosting the Provincial Boys`B`Cup championships at the PGYSA Fields and Masich Place Stadium.

The host PG Impact has two teams competing in the Under-13 division and one each in Under-15 and Under-18.

Finals are scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 2:00.

NHL:

The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed forward Josh Leivo to a one-year, $1.5-million deal.

The 26-year-old Leivo tallied 24 points (14 goals) and 32 penalty minutes in 76 games last season between Vancouver and Toronto.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have given head coach Mike Sullivan a four-year contract extension that runs through the 2023-24 season.

Sullivan guided the Penguins to the Stanley Cup in 2016 and 17.

JUNIOR GOLF:

Both Prince George golfers finished in the top 25 at the BC Junior Boys and Girls golf championships in Nanoose Bay.

On the boys’ side, Cody Bailey tied for 21st (rounds of 75, 72, 79, 77) with a 19-over-303 total, 20 strokes off the pace.

In the girls’ division, Natasha Kozlowski placed 15th  (rounds of 78, 84, 84, 84) with a 330 score, 32 shots from the top.

The 33-56 Jays are 4-4 on a 10-game homestand that continues today (Noon PT) against the

Canadian Milos Raonic, the men`s 15th seed from Thornhill Ont., has advanced to the round of 16 at Wimbledon.

Raonic won his third-round match Friday in straight sets over American Reilly Opelka.

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime is out after losing in straight sets in round three.
