Cougars sign their top two picks

The Prince George Cougars first-round picks in the 2019 Bantam Draft, defenceman Keaton Dowhaniuk and forward
Koehn Ziemmer, have signed WHL Standard Player Agreements.
Both 2004-born players are from Edmonton.

The Cougars selected Dowhaniuk third overall and Ziemmer fourth overall.

“We are thrilled to have these two in the fold,” stated General Manager & Head Coach Mark Lamb. “We are in a development cycle that is trending upwards and these two will be key pieces to the core of our team that we feel will be very competitive in the coming years.”

Dowhaniuk and Ziemmer are allowed to play five games for the Cougars in the 2019-20 season.
