Man jumps from third floor to (unsuccessfully) evade police

Four suspects have been arrested following search warrants executed in Prince George residences.

Last Friday night RCMP said they executed a warrant on the 3800 block of 15th Avenue where they found two men and a woman inside. One of the men, 25 years old, elected to jump from a third story window in an attempt to get away from the police but was met at the ground by a police service dog team and taken into custody.

He was found in possession of a significant amount of cash, cocaine, and heroin or fentanyl or a combination of both.  The suspect suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.

More drugs and cash were also found in the house.

The second warrant was executed at a residence on the 200 block of North Ospika Boulevard where a 27-year-old Prince George man was located and arrested after a search found a significant amount of cash.

All four suspects have been released from custody pending further investigation.
