The North District RCMP are investigating a two-vehicle crash just south of Prince George early this morning (Friday).

According to Drive BC, the incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 97 and McRinney Road.

RCMP Spokesperson Madonna Saunderson recently spoke with MyPGNow.com.

“What we know is that a crash occurred on the highway and called into the police at around 4:17 AM this morning, details are very limited at this time but it was reported there was a crash with injuries involved but I don’t know the extent of them.”

The road was closed for a period of time due to a vehicle recovery but it has re-opened to traffic.

The investigation is ongoing.
