WATCH: There will be no severance, Fort St. James in crisis

Months of curtailments leading up to the possible sale of Conifex in Fort St. James has left some employees, and the district itself, in financial crisis.

MyPGNow spoke with Fort St. James residents amid what some say has been “radio silence” from both their own Union and the company.

United Steelworkers Union 1-2017 President Brian O’Rourke says there will be no severance pay for the employees who have lost their jobs….
