The PG Iceman is one step closer to its 28th annual run.
The four stage event will be kicking off on the 25th and currently it looks as if it will have quite a turnout.
Here’s registrar Jim Van Bakel:
“We [usually] see a bunch of last minute entries and we are hoping to see a few more, we are doing pretty good right now, we are sitting at 375 online and then I’ve got a bunch of school groups that aren’t on there so we are going to be well over about 400 by the end of the day”
The multi-sport swim, ski, skate and run marathon event draws in hundreds every year, however there is concern about the PG Ice Oval being ready to go, otherwise they will have to cut the skating section from the race.
Registration is still active, and you can do so online at pgiceman.ca, until 9 pm on Tuesday.
