The Prince George Knights are putting on a show at the 2019 BC Minor Baseball 15U AA Provincial Championship at Nechako Park.
Prince George dismantled the Ladner Red Sox 17-1 on Sunday, improving their record in the tournament to 3-0.
Next up for the Knights, a game against the North Langley Trappers today at 3:15 on Field 2. The Trappers currently have a 2-1 record, with their lone loss coming against the Ladner.

The BC Lions (1-6) will face the East Division-leading Hamilton Tiger-Cats (5-2) in Week 9 of the CFL regular season.
The Battle of the Cats will take place on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. PST.
BC sits in the basement of the West Division while also being tied with Toronto with most points allowed (241).

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who turned 42 on Saturday, is signing a two-year, $70 million extension that runs through 2021, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press.
The #Patriots and QB Tom Brady are in agreement on a 2-year deal worth $70M, source said, thru 2021. He gets $23M this year, then $30M and $32M in the following years — though both sides are amenable to adjusting it if the situations warrants. It’s essentially year-to-year.

The six-time Super Bowl champ will get an $8 million raise this season when he’ll make $23 million.
The extension also calls for him to make $30 million in 2020 and $32 million in 2021, when he would be 44.

The Orioles (38-73) won a mistake-prone game with wild pitches, misplayed balls, costly walks and baserunning errors by both teams.
Blue Jays rookies Bo Bichette and Cavan Biggio had back-to-back homers off Tom Eshelman that pulled the Blue Jays within 6-4 in the seventh inning.
The Orioles have allowed two or more home runs in nine consecutive games, tying an MLB record.
