Over the 14 years since doing the first carvings at Cottonwood Park, Elmer Gunderson never received any word of harm being done to any of his work.
Yet on June 26, the local sculpture posted to communities pages on Facebook after receiving word that the beloved dragon of Cottonwood Park had been vandalized.
Today (Wednesday), the dragon has made his return to the “Enchanted Forest” at Cottonwood Park.
