Blue Jays rookie shortstop Bo Bichette went 0-4. His franchise-record 11-game hitting streak to start a big-league career came to a halt.

First-ever CFL game called off early because of inclement weather. Officials called the game on account of lightning in the Montreal area after an hour-long delay with 2:41 left in the third quarter. The 5-3 Riders have won four straight. The Als sit 3-4)

The (1-6) BC Lions will try to end a three-game losing skid when they visit the East-Division leading (5-2) Hamilton Tiger-Cats today (4:00 PT).

The last-place Lions are tied with Toronto for most points allowed (241).
