The traditional Labour Day Monday rivalries will clash today.
First up, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (8-2) will play host to the Toronto Argonauts (1-8) at Tim Hortons Field.
A win by the Tabbies will not only ensure that they prevent the Boatmen from passing them in the standings, but it will also secure the Ballard Trophy for a second consecutive season.
The Ballard Trophy is given to the season-series winner between Hamilton and Toronto. According to the Globe and Mail, the trophy was created in 1986.
That game kicks off at 10:00 a.m. PST.
The Battle of Alberta will then get underway immediately following.
Calgary has won the last seven consecutive Labour Day tilts against the Edmonton Eskimos.
Bo Levi Mitchell will return as the starting quarterback for the Stampeders having not played since June 29th due to injury.
Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PST
