Nadleh Whut’en First Nation to hold meeting on Endako Mine

The Nadleh Whut’en First Nations band will be holding an information session on Endako Mine later this month.
This relates to Thompson Creek Metals expansion application and the band’s scientists and experts will be presenting updates.
Chief Martin Louie says there is a lot of concern out there they want to address.
“I have to stress that our relationship with the company has been bad,” says Louie, “but now its turning around and we’re trying to work together on a lot of issues on the environment.”
Louie says the meeting will see representatives from Thompson Creek and the province in attendance.
He says you are asked to register ahead of time for the January 28th meeting at Nadleh Whut’en Community Hall.
To register, call 250-690-7211.
