It was another tough result for the UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team.
On Friday, the T-Wolves dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision at the hands of the Victoria Vikes.
Niko Cristante broke open a scoreless draw in the 53rd minute to put the Vikes ahead in the contest beating UNBC goalkeeper Rob Goodey.
Victoria outshot UNBC 11-7 overall and had a sizeable advantage on corner kicks (11-4).
The Timberwolves drop to 1-3-1 on the season as both teams play again tonight (Saturday) on Vancouver Island.
The women’s soccer team at UNBC (1-0) welcomes the UBC Okanagan Heat at noon today (Saturday) from Masich Place Stadium.
