BCHL (in PG)
Penticton Vees 4 Prince George Spruce Kings 3 (OT)
Chong Min Lee came up big for the Spruce Kings. With the net empty and inside the final two minutes of the third period, Lee took a one-timer pass and ripped the puck past Vees’ Jack McGovern to tie things up and force overtime.
Up against the BCHL’s goal-leading Penticton, the Spruce Kings were unable to edge the Vees in the extra frame, however.
With the overtime loss, the Spruce Kings record sits at 1-1-2 while Penticton remains undefeated with a record of 4-0.
