A body was discovered this morning at Duchess Park playground.
Police attended the scene and confirmed it is not a student related to the high school.
“Shortly after 8 o’clock, frontline officers with the RCMP received a report of a deceased person at the Duchess Park Playground. The death does not appear to be suspicious in nature but the investigation is in its early stages,” said Constable Sonja Blom to MyPGNow.com.
“I can confirm that the deceased person is not a student at Duchess Park.”
The RCMP remain in the area and the park will be closed for the time being.

There is a police presence around Duchess Park school this morning.
Mounties have closed the Duchess Park playground until further notice.
An RCMP officer has confirmed to MyPGNow.com that a body has been found in the area but that it is not a student related to the high school.
