Donate your scrubs to assist a future health care worker

The College of New Caledonia is once again putting out the call for gently used scrubs.

From now until October 4th, residents can drop them off at the CNC Library or Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation Office.

Instructor, Nancy Esopenko explained to MyPGNow.com what types of scrub sizes they’re looking for.

“We’re definitely looking for the smaller sizes this time around. We are looking for extra-small, small and medium-sized scrubs and it benefits the students because it’s a win-win situation.”

The bi-annual scrub sale has done a lot for students in the past few years.

“We’ve been doing the sale for about seven years and within that time frame have been able to give out over $10,000 worth in bursaries to health sciences students simply by collecting the gently used scrubs and selling them for five dollars each.”

The scrub sale will take place on October 7th from The Gathering Place at the PG Campus.
